Kenya's best safaris since 1987 - Travel - Destinations

Established in 1987, On Safari Africa (createasafari.com) was created to design a la carte tourism products, reflecting the wishes of our valued clients.

We specialize in the creation of custom, tailor made and exciting african safari tours for the discerning traveller looking for a different holiday experience. All our itineraries are original and have been created and refined by us and our guides after intensive exploration of East Africa's most remote areas.

They have been designed to allow you to discover the spectacular landscape of East Africa, and meet the local population and share their rich and diverse culture. Most importantly, you will experience the different ways of approaching and observing wildlife, and get you where Africa is still traditional, wild, and of unparalleled beauty.

Over time, the privileged relationship that we have created with the local population living in these remote regions has allowed us to offer unique safaris. One of our goals at "On Safari Africa" is to make sure that our safaris are beneficial to the local communities.

We combine safaris in national parks and reserves with the exploration of areas that are off the beaten path, private ranches and conservation areas managed by local communities.

We try as much as possible to combine the use of traditional lodges, tented camps, farmsteads and eco-lodges. Your accommodation will be chosen for the quality of lodging, but also for the site beauty, variety and abundance of wildlife, and the privacy.

Our safari vehicles and driver-guides are a very important part of your safari and we make sure you get the best. Our drivers and tour guides undergo a rigorous selection process and demonstrate exceptional knowledge of local culture, language and wildlife.

We also organize encounters with the local population, trekking into little frequented areas such as parts of the Loita Hills and Laikipia plateau, expeditions in the North of Kenya such as Lake Turkana; but also luxury safaris using mobile camps, small permanent camps, private ranches, 4x4/4wd/Suv's and planes for transport. These also include stays on the coast, including Lamu and Zanzibar.

And we don't forget the children! We organize family safaris in not only welcoming places for children but where specific activities for them will be proposed and we plan the safari in such a way to avoid too long distances. Having taken our own children since a very young age on safari, we have the experience!

Thanks to our very good relationship with the local population and authorities, we also organize all the logistics in East Africa for film and documentary crews, as well as for professional photographers.

Examples of films and documentaries that we took part in :

A film in 3D for the Futuroscope in Poitiers (France), "Chronicles of Wild Africa", "Conflicts around a river" shot in northern Uganda, "A Real World" for MTV, "Little Warriors" by Lauren Hutton, "Hotel Bosnia" by Thomas Balmes, "Ketende" by Alain Marie Thomas, "Adventure Lovers" by Nestor Productions, "A day in the Bush" by Simon Watel, "When elephants die" and "Maasai, the rain warriors" by Pascal Plisson

With our knowledge of East Africa we can also organize incentives such as the following, that we have already organized among others:

- Winterthur Spain, a group of 60 people in camps near Lake Natron, in the Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti in Tanzania.- Co-operatives East of France, a group of 30 people in the North of Tanzania and Zanzibar.- Coca -Cola Management, incentive of high level for 12 persons in the reserve of Masai Mara in Kenya.- Photo contest for Kodak in Masai Mara and Samburu game reserve, the group of 100 people was divided into two and transfers between the reserves was by air.

So if you want an all inclusive vacation that will take you on a journey of discovery accross the most beautiful and exotic places in East Africa, join us now on a safari !
